Ken graduated from Pepperdine University and then went on to pursue his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Seminary.  Before coming to Beachpoint Church, Ken served as the Young Adults Pastor at New Hope Diamond Head Church in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Ken grew up in Winnipeg, Canada, then moved to San Jose, Calif., at age 13. Ken has worked and volunteered in various different church traditions (Baptist, Non-denominational, Presbyterian, Church of Christ, and Foursquare). This diversity of experience has given him a healthy respect for church tradition while also teaching him the value of being a church that is relevant and practical in the 21st century.

His wife, Carolyn, grew up attending Beachpoint Church and is how Ken got connected with the community of Beachpoint.  He loves ice hockey, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and reading.
