Every member of our church family is a missionary. The heart of our mission calling is for every member to understand and accept their missionary role in this post-Christian culture in which we live. Each member is called to intentionally and prayerfully develop a personal strategy for mission here in our local area and beyond. Equally important, we must do all we can to advance the cause of Christ and the Gospel among other un-reached and under-reached people groups of the world. The Cross Cultural Mission Team (CCMT), with sensitivity to where God is already working and calling us, will take the lead in this area by working with local, regional, national and international partners. This team will be led by the Deacon of CCM and a group put together to oversee the ministries of CCM.

As we continue to expand, prioritize and evaluate our mission involvement, we will also be led by the following strategic guidelines:

• Praying individually and corporately
• Expressing special concern for:

- The poor
- International residents and students living and/or studying among us
- Developing leaders
- Urban opportunities
- Renewal of struggling churches and re-evangelizing the West

• Providing as many members of the church community as possible with cross-cultural experiences
• Sending cross-cultural missionaries from our own community
• Integrating mission more fully into our church community life
• Joining with new mission partners, based on opportunities for personal relationships, needs and consistency between their theologies/strategies and ours.
