Faith is a response, an action to something we believe to be true, we trust can and will happen. However, for many faith never moves past the mental stage. We think God can do something, we may even hope God could do something, but we can’t move into the act of actually trusting him. We are paralyzed by fear and doubt and as a result the opportunities and blessings offered, escape us.

The life of Elisha is filled with stories of faith in action: burning the plows, digging trenches, filling empty pots and breaking arrows. They are stories that remind us that faith is a response to God’s desires to walk with us and give us victory.
